Type
Cast Resin Transformer (CRT)
The primary and secondary windings are encapsulated in a hard epoxy resin, creating a durable, protective casing.
Open Wound / Ventilated Transformer
Uses air circulation, either naturally or with fans, to dissipate heat from the exposed windings.
Vacuum Pressure Impregnated Transformer (VPI)
Windings are saturated with a Class H polyester resin using a vacuum and pressure process, which eliminates air gaps and improves mechanical and thermal strength.
Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated Transformer (TEN)
The transformer is completely enclosed to protect the windings from damaging elements like moisture, dust, and corrosive materials.
